Ladies will perfect their paddling skills with outdoor DIVAS new kayaking camp
WHAT: Outdoor DIVAS has revamped their women’s kayak program and are offering a 6 day progressive camp over three weeks that will get women to the next level.
Women will leave with the knowledge and skills to venture out and paddle with girlfriends safely and confidently. The kayak DIVAS camp includes intensive flat water training, safety, river running, basic roll technique and drills. The camp is designed for beginners and ladies who have previously taken an intro class and have an enthusiast attitude to improve their skills.
Forget the one day teaser classes that won’t prepare you for whitewater. According to ACA (American Canoe Association) the majority of intro to kayaking students are women, but only a small % stick with the sport.
The kayak DIVAS camp is designed not only to introduce you to the sport but give you the skills to continue with the sport. The camp will consist of three Tuesday night flat water classes and three Sunday river running sessions.

WHEN: (evenings) July 7th, 14th, 21st, 5pm-8pm; (full day) July 12th, 19th, 26th, 9am-4pm; * Scheduled makeup rainout dates: flatwater =July 9th or Aug 4th, river = Aug 9th
WHERE: Flat water portion will be held at the Boulder Reservoir and river days will usually be held in Golden or Lyons. * Meeting times and locations will be determined daily to accommodate river levels, weather conditions, and class needs.

Cancellations less than five days prior to class are non refundable. If inclement weather forces us to call off a class, we have scheduled makeup dates for the evenings of July 9th or Aug 4th and a full river day on Aug 9th. Otherwise you are responsible for the classes and no exception or personal make up days will be allowed ~just like a college course.
