Google Earth: Hiker’s Edition
A few days ago, everybody’s favorite search engine released Google Earth 5.2, also referred to as the Hiker’s Edition. Among the new features included is the ability to view elevation, speed, and other data as a graph in the program with information collected by the user’s GPS device. If heart rate and other body stats are also recorded, this data can be shown at the bottom of the screen.
Teva Mountain Games 2010 Results and Videos
An estimated 40,000 people crowded into Vail, Colorado, last weekend to watch what's affectionately known as the unofficial Olympics of mountain sports. Rather than cheer on the mainstream sports of football, basketball, or even soccer, fans gathered to watch the International Federation of Sport Climbing's Bouldering World Cup, shoot the Down River Sprint kayak finals, and even participate in the annual Mud Run (exactly what it sounds like).

Natalija Gros - Le Tango Vertical

The Ljubljana based 25 year old has been climbing since age 6, redpointed 5.14c (Histerija at Misja Pec) and onsighted 5.13b. The goal of the video was emphasize to her seemingly effortless technique, dubbed to Latin rhythms, thus the name "Le Tango Vertical". Need we say more? I think not. Enjoy!
